President Hinckley

We were so sad to hear the news of President Hinckley's
passing. He has been such an inspiration to our family.
Every time I heard him speak, I felt something special. I
am grateful for his example, wisdom, and devotion. I am
also happy that he is now with his wife. He missed her
so much! I love this book... President Hinckley encouraged
us to be a little better every day. I always felt like I could
follow this advice... it wasn't so overwhelming! I hope I
can "stand a little taller" every day.

Austen's Choir

Austen has participated in her school choir this year.
She wasn't quite sure about it, but has had fun with it.
They had a performance earlier this month and here
is one of the songs they performed.

Piano Recital 2008

These are my piano students! We had our annual recital
this past weekend and they did very well. I really enjoy
teaching them. I've included Noah and Austen's
performances below.

FAMILY REUNION

We had an awesome weekend! My siblings Britt and Jacob and their families joined us and my parents for a little reunion. We finally met our cute, cute new cousin James! We played Wii, ate yummy food (as always), and went to the snow AGAIN! We just can't get enough. The kids love it. I stole the video from Britt's blog.. (THANKS!) Good times......

Children's Museum

I think I'm really going to have fun with this blog!
This is a picture of a bunch of us having fun at a
children's museum in Oakhurst. We head up there
once or twice a year and the kids love it. Ranging
in age from 2-11, there's something for them all!
(and it was a really rainy day, so it was so nice to
have somewhere to go!)

I've put tons of pictures from both Christmas and New Year's.
We had so much fun with friends and family celebrating the holidays.
We are SO happy to have cousins in the state!! We loved going to
Shaver Lake for our annual winter weekend. A super way to start
the new year! I'm looking forward to many more memories just
waiting to be made!
