Happy Easter! We have been blessed with a gorgeous
Easter Day here in Fresno, and we are so happy to
celebrate the day together with family. We are so
grateful for our Savior and His sacrifice and we
rejoice in the hope and peace this gives us all.

We had spring break this week, and we had a wonderful
time on our annual trip to Knott's Berry Farm. We
absolutely love that place!! We're so happy the
Christensens joined us, as well as Brian! The day was
perfect, except for a little mid-day outing to the ER
for Aidan. The poor little guy fell HARD and split his
lip on the inside. He also chipped a tooth, and has a
new toothy grin. We are so grateful he seems to be doing
fine! A little unwanted excitement, but the rest of the
day was awesome. We went to the Griffith Observatory
the next day and then headed home. Corey and the kids
snowboarded twice, and I and the little ones got to go
to Neve's birthday party! A very busy week, but a good one.
I'm definitely not ready for spring break to end!

You Go Girl!

Austen has had so many performances lately! She is a
very busy girl and involved in lots of fun extracurricular
activities! We've seen her sing in the choir, cheer, and
participate in both oral interpretation and Destination
Imagination. She's worked very hard at everything and had
a blast doing it. This is a recent cheer performance. The
quality of the video isn't great, but you can see that the
girl knows how to boogie! (Austen starts out in the front
of the group) She certainly doesn't get that from her mom!
I love to watch her dance! (which is a good thing, since
she rarely stops!) :)

Birthday Girl

Ellie is 5! Our "baby" girl is growing up! As I was
looking at her pictures from the last year, I had a hard
time choosing! She is always ready with a cute smile or
a hilarious "crazy face". We love our Ellie and wish her
a very happy birthday!

Baptism Day

What a wonderful weekend we had! Noah was
baptized and it turned out to be a perfect
day. These days are so special, especially
when you realize that you only have very
few days like these in your entire life.
We are so happy for Noah and his decision
to be baptized! We are also so glad that so
many friends and family were there to
celebrate the occasion. Thanks!

Birthday Boy

Our sweet Noah turns eight today. Wow, time flies! I can't
believe how much he's changed in the last year! He's very
excited to be baptized this weekend. Noah is a good boy
and we absolutely love having him in our family. Happy Birthday!

A Day in the City

We spent the weekend in San Ramon with Britt and fam.
We, of course, had a blast. Our trip to the city was the
highlight of the trip, but just hanging out was super
dooper fun as well. We LOVE having cousins here!

XOXO

We sure do feel the love around here! We
look forward to Valentine's Day with
great anticipation. The valentines are all
ready to be delivered tomorrow... Noah
even has a "special" one for a certain little
girl he thinks is really nice. I'm picking up
our heart shaped pizza to have for dinner,
and maybe, just maybe, everyone will be
nice to each other tomorrow!
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

Daddy Daughter Dance

Austen LOVES to go and boogie with her dad.
They went out to dinner with friends, and
then danced the night away. Ellie can't wait
to go next year! There's something so sweet
about a little girl being so excited to hang
out with her dad. (even if she said, "AW,
DAAAD!!" when he danced a little crazy!)

Zoo

This is a little experiment... I love that you can
share in so many ways with a blog... I'm trying
out a new digital scrapbooking program and
did this page VERY quickly. The pics are super
cute so I thought I would share...

Big Boy Bed

Our little guy, Aidan, has graduated into a "big boy bed"
after a week of him jumping out of his crib at 5:30 a.m.
to come and say good morning to a very asleep mom.
Seeing as how it has been pitch dark when he's done this,
I've had visions of him landing on dangerous objects
inevitably left on the floor, or strangling himself on
SOMETHING as he vaults to freedom. (these are the
things I think about!) Needless to say, he's been moved.

The crib is down, and the bedding is all ready to donate.
You see, this is a more than Aidan getting bigger... it is
the end of an era. For almost 11 years, we have had a
baby in the crib. As Corey took apart the crib I lovingly
painted for Austen when she was a baby, I grew nostalgic.
Although I feel that our family is complete, I still think
it a little sad that we have left the baby stage behind.
I still call Aidan "baby", but I know that this, too,
will be left behind. It is quite adorable, however, to see
him SO excited to go to bed at night! (and I am happy
to add that I have not seen him during the five a.m.
hour since he switched.... we'll see if this lasts
when the novelty wears off... I'm crossing my fingers!)
